Students are brought together several times a year to discuss issues important to them. Topics are dictated by students and can range from Affirmative action to Sexuality issues.
Racial Awareness Programs
Co-sponsored throughout the academic year, OMA will provide programming during Black History Month, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, Latino Heritage Month, Asia and Native American Weeks, (as cornerstone events) to not only educate students about other student groups, but to also educate students about themselves.
An e-mail service that provides students with monthly lists of multicultural programs, events, scholarships, job opportunities, fellowships, and conferences.
National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI)
Prejudice reduction workshops are available to the University community. Workshops are lead by students, staff and faculty.
